In the Yuzbasiyan-Gurkan Lab, we work to expand our understanding of biology and disease processes while maintaining the highest standards of rigor, reproducibility, and professionalism in a supportive culture. We adhere to the lab safety guidelines and act with awareness to minimize risk to self and others. We value and honor the uniqueness of each individual in our team and want each team member to bring their whole self to the lab knowing that any form of discrimination and bullying based on race, ethnic and national origin, religion, political beliefs, sexuality, gender identity or lifestyle will not be tolerated.
